About This Project

360 was excited when approached to design and build the interior of Char’d, a Korean restaurant in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward.

The interior theme embraces modern details with mid-century elements. Upon entering, visitors are greeted with a blue neon sign of their brand on a ‘charred’ shou sugi ban wall. The 20′-long bar includes a custom hand applied finish to the steel panel bar facade, a gorgeous solid glue-up wood surface with additional shou sugi ban and brass finish details.  The back bar has modular panels that easily adjusts to the lunch and bar services. Beautifully sourced pendant lighting sets the mood and enhances the retro-style menu boards.

The open dining room has a one-of-a-kind chandelier constructed of welded steel with a brass powder coat and reeded glass panels. This conversational lighting element extends to the community table below, mid-century chairs throughout, booth and banquette seating with custom made cushions and table tops.

Not only is the interior worth the visit, the food is just as amazing…!
